In the realm of cricket, there are few events that come close to the intensity and spectacle of the Ashes. However, Forest School recreated that sense of thrill and anticipation with its very own 'Tony Martin's T20 Thank You Bash'.

Set against the backdrop of a sunlit day, the school's ground echoed with cheers, claps, and the characteristic sounds of leather on willow. It was more than just a cricket match; it was a celebration, a testament to the spirit of unity and fellowship that Tony has championed for years.

Punctuating this festive ambience was the presence of a legend - former England cricketer, Graham Gooch.

Gooch's attendance elevated the event, turning it into a star-studded affair. His love for the game and admiration for grassroots events was evident as he keenly watched every ball, sharing words of encouragement and wisdom with the young cricketers. However, the pinnacle of the day was when Mr. Gooch presented Tony with an award for his invaluable services to Forest School. 

Tony's consistent support, be it through generous donations or his unyielding commitment to the school, has been an inspiration to all. The 'Tony Martin's T20 Thank You Bash' was not just a tribute to Tony himself, but a showcase of what a community can achieve when it comes together.
